Assigning Results to a Training Session

Training sessions can be assigned results after they have been completed. Results may automatically be assigned to trainees in the roster if an assessment has been completed. To assign training session results, the training session must be in Inworks, Signup Closed, or Waiting For Results status.

  1. From the SmartSolve Portal Page, click the Home tab at the top of the window.
  2. In the Training Management section of the list, select Find > Training Session.
    Result: A list of training sessions is displayed.
  3. Click the Training No. link of the training session.
    Result: The training session is displayed.
  4. Click Action > Assign Results.
  5. Enter a grade and/or result for each trainee.
  6. Specify the certification date, if different than the training session closure date.
  7. Check the Close Training Session checkbox.
  8. Enter a comment.
  9. Enter your user ID and password.
  10. Click the Save button.
    Result: The training session status is now Closed. If an assessment is attached, and not all trainees have completed the assessment, those trainees that have not completed the assessment will be assigned a result of Failed once the training session is Closed.
